Retired Parish Priest of Bohermeen, Navan. Former Director of the Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Peacefully in Millbury Nursing Home, Navan. Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Kathleen Mackin (Kingscourt) and his brothers Justin & Gerard. Deeply regretted by his sister Emma McEvoy (Abbeyleix), brother-in-law, sisters-in–law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, devoted housekeeper & friend Olive Lynch, Bishop Thomas, Bishop Emeritus Michael, brother priests of the Diocese of Meath, relatives and friends.
May Fr. Mackin Rest in Peace Arriving at St. Ultans Church, Bohermeen on Wednesday, 15th April, for 7pm. Requiem Mass can be viewed on Thursday at 12 noon on Bohermeen Parish website on https://www.churchservices.tv/bohermeen or https://www.bohermeenparish.ie/our-parish/webcam followed by burial in the Church grounds. Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings a private family funeral will take place. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, can leave their Condolences below. |
